I am a woman in my fifties, a wife, a mother of 3 adult children and a career that's evolving.
My favorite quote, "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." - Ralph Waldo Emerson -
As a late bloomer in life, I spent the first 18 years struggling to figure out this world and spent most of my time observing human interactions to learn and grow. Movies and TV shows were my teacher in my teens. I was always young for my chronological age and didn't make a lot of friends. I was shy growing up, afraid even of anyone new who visited. Marriage added a new set of problems which I fought to survive, in my own mind of course. Here to share my story with similar situations and give hope to those women who have the same struggles. It is possible to thrive if you maintain the right attitude. It's not easy but achievable with persistence. "Persistence", that's not new for an Aspie!
I enjoy music, art, creativity of any kind, reading, writing, speaking and much more.
